HAV Design develops and designs energy-efficient vessels that facilitate zero-emission solutions and are equipped to meet the environmental requirements of the future.
The UN’s International Maritime Organization (IMO) has decided that the global emissions from shipping must be halved by 2050. At the same time, Norway is committed to halving its domestic shipping emissions by 2030. HAV Design contributes to achieving these goals through the development of energy-efficient vessels with a low environmental impact.

PROVEN EXPERIENCE
HAV Design and HAV Group ASA have proven expertice in energy-efficient vessels, environmentally friendly systems, and technology, and we have the cross-cutting expertise required to support our costumers in meeting the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Some specific examples include 12 designs for battery-powered ferries that use clean hydropower instead of fossil energy and 8 environmentally friendly vessels for the offshore wind industry, which supplies the world with renewable energy. We are playing our part in building a sustainable society.
